Ummm, happy not quite your birthday, daddy!

Friday morning Gus decided that it was his daddy's birthday. He knew better, but wanted to pretend, so I joined the fun and played along! Things got serious-party wise and weather wise. Decorations came out, Pinki and Pops got off of school at noon because of tornado weather that was coming this way and a cake went in the oven!!

Gus decorated the cake with a little help from mom and I, but mostly he did it! He loves Max and Ruby and wanted to make his daddy a worm and rock cake like Max makes.

When Jake got home we busted out candles and Gus sang to him! It was very sweet as he sang really low and got shy for a minute! Mabel partied pretty hard and fell asleep holding her balloon!

Happy "half" birthday, Jake! You really are something to sing about!!
