I do not have a picture, but 7 or so sites down from us was a 1990ish red Camaro pulling a kayak trailer loaded to the gills and each time it hit a speed bump it would bottom out. Well they decided to go for a joy ride WITH THE TRAILER at 10:55pm (quiet time begins at 11pm). I will leave it at that!

Tent & Toddler - Day 2
I am not sure how this happened, but this should be between Tent & Toddler - Day 1 and Day 3, but it ended up here! Oh well, such is life. Our 2nd day camping was great. The weather was perfect. We slept great. Ate great. Went to 2 different parks several times. Felt like kids going down the slide over and over again! Swung. Played hard. Rode bikes. Smelled flowers. Went down to the beach area. Drove through the Bison and Elk Prairie. Gus made sure the entire campground heard him in the shower stall. Not screams of excitement and happiness. More likes shrieks of horror and terror. It was a simple cat bath (i.e. I wet the cloth wipe him with soap, rinse the cloth, wipe him and repeat.). HE NEVER GOT IN THE SHOWER, but you would swear I was holding him directly under it. Mommy needed a drink after the shower episode. Gus fell fast asleep. Jake hit the showers. I saw two skunks while he was gone. I stayed on top of the picnic table for about 20 minutes or so waiting for Jake to return. I was scared. We did not get sprayed. Jake and Gus were snoring their booties off while I lay wide awake listening to little rodents milling around our tent. I know we are in their territory, but still GO TO BED!

Radnor Lake State Park
This past Sunday was very overcast, but we felt that we needed to get out since we were stuck indoors the entire week before due to an awful stomach virus that plagued the ENTIRE house. I swear, it is a good thing animals do not catch human ailments because that would have been the living end!! Anyway, we headed out to this lake that we had happened upon one day and have been wanting to go back and take the hike. Radnor Lake is where we went. For Gusley's birthday one of his gifts from us was the piggy backer, so we decided to break it in. For his first time in it he did very well. He made it to the lake, about .30 miles then he was over it and wanted Momma to carry him. In his defense it was nap time and he had been sick and was used to Momma being right there for his every whimper! We stopped for a nursing break and that seemed to have done the trick long enough to get back to the car. On our hike back to the car we saw 21 deer on the trail. One was about eight feet in front of us and I did not even see it until Jake grabbed me to show me!!! Mommy mode had kicked in and my motive was to get the baby to the car......he spotted the deer and was cooing and gooing and ahhing at them. He loves animals and nature. It was so sweet when he realized that his voice would echo, then he was just a babbling away!! Gusley, we are so proud of you and the little person you are becoming. Mommy and Daddy love you so much that no words can begin to describe our love and feelings for you!! Keep on rockin in the free world, because the real world is not all that it is often cracked up to be!

Here we go....piggy backing with Daddy!
He immediately spit the nunie out and found a love for trees and tree bark!
Giddy from nature??
Two of a kind!
