Vrooooom!

Paran Cory, though you two are far apart you always know just what to get your godchild! Cory gave Gus this Little People Race Track for Christmas and let me just say that we have all had fun with it....even Buttercup! There are two tracks that spin the cars in figure 8's and they just keep spinning until you stop it or the 30 seconds is up. We put Buttercup's ball on it and it was hilarious to watch her attempt to get the ball. Jake was in charge of the throttle and just as she would get close he was 'floor' it!! Cory, thanks for the awesome track and we can't wait for you to come visit so you can join in the fun too!!!

Now that we are back home and rested and unpacked I will attempt to continue "back-blogging" to bring everyone up to speed on where we have been and what we have been doing!!

CHRISTMAS EVE

Here is Gusley knocked out after one heck of day!! Santa and Mrs. Claus were busy doing their job while visions of sugar plums danced through his head!! What a trooper he was for Christmas Eve. I truly think that this might have been the longest day of his life so far, and he handled it so well! We are so proud of you and love you soooooo much baby Gusley!!!!

Rochelle and Ted's beautiful Christmas tree playing host to Santa and Mrs. Claus's loot!! Paran Cory, thanks for all the wonderful gifts! We had to put them out under the tree for him to see all over again Christmas morning!!!

12.24.08 - A First Christmas to remember thanks to Paran Cory!!! Jake and I thought that we would not go overboard this year since we were going to be travelling and since we can still get away with not having to have tooooo much! I guess this is where the duty of a Godfather steps in!! Cory, Gusley's Godfather, really out did us! In a really great way!!! He got three awesome toys for Gusley that he will be playing with for years to come! And a really great onesie that says "Your looking at a rockstar!" very fitting!!!

Here is Gus sitting in front of the mound of gifts from Paran Cory! At first he was more into the ribbons than the wrapping, but then the fun began!

He figured he would start small then work up to the big ones!

Here we go......he had to inspect all four sides of the box then start shredding the paper!

What is it??? Great gift numero uno...A ride and walk lion...perfect timing since he is just starting to really walk on his own!!

Already making it sing and light up and it is not even out of the box!! I think he digs it!!

AWESOME....Fisher Price Barnyard!!

Gus was really into having ALL the paper removed from his gifts. So much so that he climb on top of just about all of them to make sure it was all off!! Looks like Paran is very proud of his Godchild....all smiles on Christmas, just what I like to see!! For some reason it always makes my day when I see the adults enjoying Christmas just as much if not more than the children! This picture is a great example of that...thanks Cory!

Last, but certainly no least is the Fisher Price Garage!!! Thanks to Aunt Kelly for putting it together for Gusley! He really enjoyed helping her too!
