Going on a Egg Hunt
Gus and his two little gal pals had an Easter egg hunt at Endi's house the other day. The girls were very into gathering the eggs and putting them in the basket. Gus had other plans. Other plans that included Jake and I taking him around the yard on the tricycle to collect his eggs! That little monkey! I tell ya, sometimes he just surprises the heck out of us, but we love him oh so much and always seem to crack up at the end of each day when we are recapping the high points of the day!

Easter Morning
Happy Easter everyone!!! This is the new "shy" face that Gusley likes to do!! He stayed here for a few moments then headed to his basket!!

The ball that we just HAD to get because the man at the toy store said it was the new crave and 3 women were like "oh yeah, you HAVE to get that, it is such a great toy." Yeah, ok, we bought the darn thing just to see if it were true and I do not think he has touched it since the picture!!

Easter Eggs and Basket....
This was the first time in years that I dyed Easter Eggs!! I forgot how much fun it was....I felt like I was a 12 year old with my niece and two nephews. After eating some yummy crawfish and crabs from Mr. Kenneth, we cleaned the kitchen and got Gus down and then it was dye time!! I bought the $0.99 kit and Sarah bought the $3.98 kit....let's just say that Sarah's was far more elaborate than mine. (My dye tablets did not dissolve, I guess that is why it was so cheap!) Here are the finished products.....

Bunnies!!!!!!
Last Saturday, we saw where a local toy shop had announced that the "Bunnies are here"!! We decided to bring Gus to take a gander at the bunnies!! He loved them!! He has a serious love for animals at just 13 months old. As soon as he saw them he took a big gasp (which he does any time he sees our cats or any other four legged animal!)!! It was very sweet. The bunny pin was very nice, just tall enough for him to see over!! We did a little Easter shopping while there, the bunny just couldn't pass up a few items:-)!!!

The bunny pin and a few of the bunnies!!
Close up of the sweet bunnies!!
