Sticker boy

Sunday while we were watching the Saints game, mom pulled out some stickers from Halloween for Gus to play with. Jake put one on him and this is what that one sticker led to..........




Also, this is his new attire....a diaper! In order for a nap to be had, Gus must remove EVERY article of clothing except his diaper. I can't blame him and he has been sleeping for almost 2 hours at nap time so I am not forcing clothing at nap time!

HAPPINESS IS........

The Cat NOT in the Hat!

Gus has been obsessed with Cat in the Hat and that is all he could talk about and anytime we discussed his costume it always went back to Cat in the Hat. Halloween day I made him this shirt and he was going to wear it with black pants and his Cat in the Hat converse. Like everything with a 2 year old IT DID NOT GO AS PLANNED.

WRONG! This ended up being his costume....the #2, as in a 2 year old! Perfectly fitting for everything!

Gus has really been enjoying his new outside desk. He brings his chair back and forth from the log cabin to the desk depending on what he wants to do. Here is the process of creating a masterpiece.....bring the chair to the desk, finger paint, put some finger paint in your mouth and run and wa la, there you have it!

The day after the great flood of N'ville

After being cooped up in the house for 3 days we were finally able to get out and enjoy some sunshine. When the rain started Gus' pool was maybe 1/2 full. Here he is assessing it!

Cheese! It's bright, but it feels good to be outside!

And when you have enough of playing in the sun, bring the party to the car and listen to some tunes with daddy!!!

Rainy Days...

Are good for stacking every single Mega Block we own......



Are good for a nice relaxing bath, Elmo jammies and a maraca whose batteries are dying because it has been on every waking hour for over a week now!

Are good for enjoying a new big boy bed and playing a few licks on the guitar!

Future Wiggle....

So after 3 attempts to upload my video to the blog, I have created a You Tube account and will upload future videos there and create a link to them. If any of you fellow bloggers have any suggestions for uploading video directly to the blog that would be great! I left it to upload overnight 2 nights in a row and 12 hours later it was still uploading. Am I being to impatient?

Snow Day Saturday

Vrooooom!

Paran Cory, though you two are far apart you always know just what to get your godchild! Cory gave Gus this Little People Race Track for Christmas and let me just say that we have all had fun with it....even Buttercup! There are two tracks that spin the cars in figure 8's and they just keep spinning until you stop it or the 30 seconds is up. We put Buttercup's ball on it and it was hilarious to watch her attempt to get the ball. Jake was in charge of the throttle and just as she would get close he was 'floor' it!! Cory, thanks for the awesome track and we can't wait for you to come visit so you can join in the fun too!!!

Last Day in Louisiana

We left the very South and headed just a tad north to visit some friends for the evening, but before we did that we stopped at the shop to tell Gi-Gi, Paw and Uncle Danny good-bye.

Rainy Day Schedule

While Gi-Gi and Paw were here during the summer we had an entire day of rainy day schedule. Gus and I took a long nap, Jake and Paw watched a movie and Gi-Gi got to explore the new Kroger Marketplace. Which if you have never been to one they are FABULOUS!!! We did manage to get out and have dinner to celebrate Jake's birthday, but other than that we just hung out around the house. Here are a few pictures from our day!
