The most wonderful time of the year!

To say that I like Christmas is an understatement!  I love it! I think my love for Christmas has rubbed off on my little shadow, Gus.  Every night we read at least 10 different Christmas stories and each night he tells me that this is "The best Christmas ever!"

Here is what we have done so far to get in the Christmas spirit!  Grab a cup of hot chocolate and enjoy the show!

Singing Jingle Bells while decorating the tree!

Handful of Candy Canes ready to be hung, re-hung, hung and then eaten!

Countdown to Christmas ~ Made by Mommy!

Concentrating really hard on that "armourment"!

Rearranging candy canes the next morning!

Some decorating!
Posing for a picture in front of the tree!

Silly times with Buttercup's "elf giddy-up"

Sweetness!

Walking up to see Santa!

Not a fan of this man, Momma!  NOT AT ALL!

Comfy in Pinki's arms!  Right where I want to be!

Elf dog?!

It ain't the Grizwald's, but we love it!

Mabel turns 5 months old and we celebrate 6years of marriage!

A little Amy Grant Christmas while the heater repairman accesses the situation!  This was on our anniversary...one to go down in the books!

John-John replaced out stockings with Mommy and Daddy's socks, Gus' undies and Mabel's cloth diaper!

Best of buds!

Really, Mommy?!?!

Attended the brutal Saints v. Titans game - hence my eyes....that damn game nearly killed me!

A little nose scratchin' before the school Christmas program!

Made a gingerbread house!

Adding the details!

Daddy taking him to the top to add the star we made!

So, so proud :-)

Who WHAT?  Oh, Who Dat!!

Intense moment in the game?

Saints WIN!!

Made a gingerbread man!

5 month photo shoot!

Getting ready for cookies for Santa Claus!

Little decorator!

Gus did this on his own...no guidance needed! :-)

The big boy room

Here is the bed that I purchased at a yard sale.....just a simple white wooden twin bed.

And here it is in Gus' room all set up and made!! Every morning when he wakes up he helps me make his bed and he takes great pride in his little job! I love that he is such a helper. He always has been and I am hoping that he always will be!! So far we are approaching then end of week 2 and he is still sleeping in his "mew" bed every night and for naptime!! Way to go big boy!! You make mommy and daddy so proud!

Supermarket Sweep Skeleton on Aisle 4

It had been a while since we had been to Trader Joe's and we were in desperate need of a few items. The last time we went Gus paid no mind to the mini-me shopping carts. This time that is all he talked about and was so eager to get in the store and get his own cart. We would give him an item and he would just throw it in his cart....no rhyme or reason at all. While watching him do this, I remember watching Super Market Sweep and wishing and wanting so bad to be a part of that show. I just knew I could fill my cart with the most expensive items and have the highest total and find all the clues before the end of the minute and I would win BIG! Sadly, the show is no longer running so I will never get my chance, but I may suggest to the local grocery store that they do something along those lines to get people in the stores! Would you participate for free groceries? I know I would make a complete ass of myself for some free groceries!

So next time you are in the store and you hear the BEEP (beep, beep) think of the fun you could have on Supermarket Sweep!

Watch closely

Wardrobe malfunction?

Every time Gus and I hang up laundry in his closet he grabs this fleece pull over and insist on wearing it. Today I gave in.....fleece pull over, comfy jammie shorts and winter slip on shoes = toddler wardrobe malfunction!!!!

Happy Father's Day!

I know Father's Day is to honor the daddy's out there, but I sure do enjoy the good food that comes along with it!! We had a nice relaxing day. We slept late, had a good breakfast, swam, took a nice nap, swam some more and had yummy steaks for dinner! It was truly a great day.

You can just see the pure happiness on Gus' little face. I am so glad that he loves the water, however; he does not have very much fear. Please excuse the potty in the background.....potty training and that comes with the territory!

Lending a helping hand to Pops!

Salsa Sunchips are the bomb!!

And so is Pinki's homemade Guacamole! Down to the last bite!

Happy Father's Day, Jake! We love you and hope you had a great day! Thank you for all that you do for us to make our lives comfortable, fun, enjoyable and entertaining! You kick ass!!

A little entertainment by Gusley....he loves to wear "goooo-gles"!

Buttercup not very thrilled to be in Gus' pajama shirt, but I thought it was cute! The shirt says, "Can't Catch Me", which is very fitting for her!
