Fun at Gi-Gi and Paw's

December 26, 2008 ~ Still back-blogging! These were just a few cute shots we had of Gus playing at his grandparents house the day after Christmas!

Where he is sitting there is a little "lip" where the floors meet and he was learning to crawl up and down the lip. We are so proud of him and how observant he is!

He loves "Hoots" his owl....he is using it for balance to show off his walking skills!

He found a new use for Gi-Gi and Paw's chair...he turned it on its side and pushed it all over the kitchen area!

Stairmaster 2008

Up, up and away...up he goes!! Gusley has learned how to climb all the way up the stairs! When he gets to a certain point he stops, turns around to make sure we are watching then continues on his trek to the top! He is going to be a hiker just like his daddy! You will see my hand in the pictures as I was trying to take the picture and make sure he did not fall back. Multi-tasking at its finest!!

After all that climbing this is where he landed!!! The most comfortable place possible....daddy's arms!

Stairmaster 2008

10.08.08 - We have all been waiting for this day to come and yesterday was the day!! Gus noticed the stairs and figured out how to get up the first one and turn himself around and sit on them and he also figured out how to grab and hold the curtain for a little more stability! Boy do we have our hands full now...this weekend is more babyproofing!!



He shimmied to the wall and stood himself up and was so proud, hence his face!!

Doing two new tricks at one time. The first being on the stairs and the second blowing/spitting out of his mouth when he gets excited! All very cute!!

Pulling Up

Someone is getting a little too big for his britches, I won't mention any names!! Since learning to crawl he has learned to pull up and inch along the object he has pulled up on, i.e., the sofa!! What a smarty pants he is!

Ok, Ok I'll go back to crawling!

And he's off..........CRAWLING!!

09.14.08~7 months today and he is CRAWLING ALL OVER!! Jake broke out the video camera for this major event!! We are having so much fun with our little bundle of joy....unbelievable how much joy such a little person can bring into one's life!

8.16.08 - Lazy Saturday.....Gi-Gi saved daddy's "Little Slugger" baseball hat so we decided to see if it fit! It certainly does!! And he loves it....I think we have a little ham on our hands! As you can see.

Here's Gus up on all fours ready to crawl....mind you this was taken a week and a half ago, so you can imagine what he is doing now!

Like Father, Like Son!

Crawling seems to be around the corner....

I put him in his bed (on his back) so I could get a few things picked up and here is what I found.....Gus rolled over lunging/rocking toward his toys!! From the looks of it he will be crawling in the very near future!

Making an effort to get his toys.....only he was moving backwards!!
