Today Mabel had her 2 month well check. She is 13.6lbs (99th percentile) and 24 3/4 inches long (98th percentile)! Doc says she is growing beautifully, she has a strong heartbeat and that she is perfect! She coo'd and goo'd and smiled big for Doc ~ just like she does everyday fir her daddy!
At this appointment my only concern was her spitting up issue....she tends to spit up after each feeding, but the amount is never consistent. Sometimes she may just hiccup it out, other times she may let it dribble out and sometimes she may actually spit up! There is no rhyme or reason. Doc said he likes where her weight is and that there is no need to worry at this time and he suggested we wear white and khaki until it subsides!
We could not escape this visit without shots. She got 3 of them and a vaccine for rota virus (this is very new because Gus did not get that one). She was a trooper. She wimpered for the first, yelped for the second and whailed for the third one, but calmed down pretty quick then she slept for nearly 4 hours. This afternoon she had a pretty big crying fit. I am sure her little meaty thighs are rather sore so I gave her her first dose of Tylenol.
Here is little miss Mabel having her stats checked!! Such a good and happy baby just like her big brother!
